Mass Energy

Mass Energy is a Boston-based non-profit organization that has worked to make energy more affordable and sustainable for Massachusetts residents for over 30 years. Mass Energy works with oil heat dealers to provide over 14,000 members with discounted heating oil. Among other programs, Mass Energy also runs a Green Power purchasing program that enables 8,000 participants to purchase locally-generated renewable energy. Mass Energy has provided support to the development and implementation of the WePowr program.

Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources

The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) develops and implements policies and programs aimed at ensuring the adequacy, security, diversity, and cost-effectiveness of the Commonwealth's energy supply to create a clean, affordable and resilient energy future. DOER has supported the development and implementation of the WePowr platform through a generous grant through the Massachusetts Renewable Thermal Business Investment Financing Program, which provides financial support for businesses seeking to expand the renewable thermal market or supply chain in Massachusetts.

Echo & Company is a full service digital agency with over a decade of experience in web development, design, and digital strategy. Echo & Co. was born out of the presidential campaigns of Howard Dean and Barack Obama, where company founders pioneered the use of social media to drive people-powered change. Echo & Co. aims to advance clients’ work to address critical social challenges through groundbreaking digital solutions. Echo & Co. developed the WePowr website and platform.
