What incentives and rebates are available to me?

The state of Massachusetts provides incentives and rebates for wood pellet heating. All cost calculations made on the WePowr website incorporate the most up-to-date information on available financial incentives.

Massachusetts Clean Energy Center: Clean Heating and Cooling Program

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) provides rebates for wood pellet heating through its Clean Heating and Cooling program. Currently, under its Clean Heating and Cooling program, MassCEC offers rebates of up to $10,000, based on system cost, to eligible homeowners who install qualifying central wood pellet heating systems. Homeowners that install thermal storage with their wood pellet heating systems can receive up to $2,000 to cover the additional cost (click here to learn more about thermal storage and whether you need to install thermal storage with your system). This rebate will be available to homeowners until 2020 or until funding runs out. All wood pellet heating systems installed through WePowr communities will meet the system requirements needed to qualify for the rebate.
